TATTOO ERASE NORWICH
SAFE TREATMENTS FOR REMOVING UNWANTED INK
Safe, AFFORDABLE LASER REMOVAL OF REGRETTABLE BODY ART AT BLACK DAGGER TATTO NORWICH
Sometimes during our tattooed lives, many of us have made very bad decisions about the ink we’ve had on our bodies. It could be that you simply chose a disreputable tattooist artist, put your faith in a tattoo establishment that promised the earth but couldn’t deliver the quality or standard of work you expected or even made a drunken decision and ended up with body art that you would never have chosen when you were sober. These choices can have devastating effect on a persons lifestyle, ability to work or even on personal relationships. Once upon a time these decisions were life changing. There really was no going back. You had to live with those choices you made. However, we’ve come a long way in the tattoo industry and “safe” Laser Tattoo erasure has progressed far beyond anybody’s imagination over the past few years.
Q-Switched Nd YAG Laser Erasure Treatments in Norfolk
How do we undertake our certified work?
Erasing unwanted body art works by directing controlled emissions at specific wavelengths in a series of pulses to the selected tattoo. This causes the ink particles to shatter which in the days and weeks following a laser treatment, is flushed away by your body’s own immune system causing the tattoo to fade. Tattoo removal does not involve any physical surgical procedures or incisions, no cutting into the skin and therefore prevents scarring.
Q Switched Nd YAG
Laser technology has developed at an incredible rate. Historically, the use of laser equipment for tattoo removal had carried a risk of long-term scarring, primarily because of overheating the skin around the treatment site. At Tattoo Erase Norwich, we use Q-switched Nd YAG technology. The beams targets very small areas of skin and this creates much less heat in the non-tattooed surrounding skin tissue. Certain tattoo ink colours, react better to laser treatments, Please note that even with the best laser equipment, green, yellow and orange pigments are often resistant to treatment and so we may not be able to completely remove your tattoo if it is rich in these pigments.
How many sessions will i need?
This is a very a difficult question to answer. Each individual’s skin is different and there really is no generic one size fits all for when it comes to the type of tattoo you may be looking to have removed. There really is no standard type of tattoo, so there is no standard treatment time, but as a rule, the simpler the tattoo, the fewer treatments will be required. We’ve seen clients with complete removal after three or four sessions where others require in excess of ten to fifteen sessions for extremely dark, heavy tattoos. Also, if you;re looking for a cover-up, then fading takes less time than completely removal. The process is lengthened by the need to wait for the previous treatment to heal before your next round. This can take four to six weeks, extending the average tattoo removal process to around a year or more in some cases. We are able to give you an estimate for the number of treatments your tattoo will require, based on a personal examination, but even then, we will not be able to say for certain how your individual tattoo and skin type will react until you have had your first treatment.
I'm worried about it hurting!
At Tattoo Erase Norwich we know every individual has their own level of pain tolerance and the discomfort from certified laser tattoo removal will vary from person to person, from a slight stinging sensation to a more uncomfortable burning. Many people find that the experience is like having a large elastic band flicked onto their skin, but sensitivity also depends on the area of the body where the tattoo is being removed from.
Is it safe?
Not everyone is suitable for laser tattoo removal. Based on the physics of the laser, clients with darker skin tones. The laser targets pigments in the dye, but at the same time, it can also target melanin in your skin, meaning the potential for complications increase with darker skin types.
With laser tattoo removal, there are risks of bleeding, and infection, nut much of this is down to ensuring the proper aftercare procedures are adhered to. Laser tattoo removal is essentially a type of elective medical treatment and as with any procedure, you need to consider underlying health issues that may impacted by the treatment.

A layer of liquid carbon is applied to your face and allowed to dry, penetrating deeply into your pores. The carbon bonds with any dead skin cells, contaminants and oil. Our Q-Switched laser is then passed across the surface of your skin causing a mini explosion that pushes the energy, in the form of heat, deep into the layers of the skin where elastin and collagen are activated. As the explosion occurs the carbon is vaporized along with any dirt, oil or dead skin cells. The sensation has been described as a mild tingling or like popping candy!
